Fee
Represents an automatically generated transaction based on the business rules defined by the client's organization.
Payment model FEE
Represent fees generated by business rules or platform economics.
Fees are generated as part of the payment model and should be treated as operational transactions tied to the parent movement.
- Origin
- The account or payment context from which the fee is derived.
- Destination
- The fee recipient account configured by your business rules.
- Best for
- Platform fees, service charges, and accounting-visible deductions that need to stay attached to the payment lifecycle.
Ownership
Section titled “Ownership”Fee transactions are system-generated. However, the fee configuration is controlled by the organization. Only the account owner can view or manage fee-related behavior for their own account.
Settlement Time
Section titled “Settlement Time”Fee transaction timing depends on the settlement time of the transaction it is associated with.
Bulk Payments
Section titled “Bulk Payments”Bulk payments are not supported for FEE.
